About This Vineyard
For 10 generations, Louis Bovard has operated a domain in the heart of Switzerland’s most prestigious winegrowing region, on the shores of Lake Geneva (locally called Lac Léman) in the canton of Vaud. The 17-hectare organic domaine forms part of the winegrowing region of Lavaux, whose principal appellations are Dézaley, Calamin, Epesses and St-Saphorin. The cultivated vine is a special variety of Golden Chasselas grape, covering 75 % of the surface. Sauvignon and Chenin Blanc have recently been added to the range of white grapes. Reds come from Merlot, Pinot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc.
