About This Vineyard
Christine and Didier Montchovet started growing their own vines in 1984 and from the beginning they cultivated their vineyards according to bio-dynamic principles. Didier’s ambition is to create wines in the tradition of Burgundy: deep, long and delicate. These are not wines that overpower, but they seduce. On the higher slopes above Beaune or ‘Hautes-Côtes de Beaune’ is the village of Nantoux, the village is surrounded by vineyards and it is here that the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for Didier’s ‘Hautes-Côtes’ wines are grown. Didier also has vines outside the village of Pommard.
