About This Vineyard
The J. Hofstätter Wine Estate was established in 1907 by the Foradori-Hofstätter family. Martin Foradori, the owner and esteemed winemaker, crafts his estate organic wines from one of seven vineyards that lie on either side of the Adige river. He makes organic wines that command attention and often get it – in the form of the ‘Tre Bicchieri’ (three glasses) an award given by the leading Italian wine magazine, Gambero Rosso. Many of Martin’s wines are age worthy, which is not surprising as he believes that you can see ‘The real soul of a wine is in its aging potential.’
