About This Vineyard
Botobolar’s dryland organic vineyard is best known for its rich and spicy Shiraz, chocolate and mint Cabernet Sauvignon, Busby clone Chardonnay, and Marsanne varieties. Created in 1971, the 22-hectares of organic vines have always been tended without using pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. Botobalar is all about cultivating grapes in harmony with the surrounding eco-system, sustaining and nourishing the soil, hand picking and pruning, and most importantly creating handmade premium organic wines that deliver good value.
Botobolar organic wines are made in accordance with organic growing and winemaking principles and are certified by ACO (Australian Certified Organic).
