About This Vineyard

Pierrefeu had been in writings since the Middle Ages as a place where exceptional wine was produced. This where the La Tour des Vidaux grapes grow, in the golden triangle of the Côtes de Provence (Pierrefeu,Puget-Ville and Cuers), on the schistose soils of the southern slopes of the Massif des Maures. La Tour des Vidaux, nestling in a little river valley known as Réal Martin, has the benefit of a unique microclimate for the area.

We work organically with the local varieties of grape – the Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cinsault, Carignan and Tibouren for the organic red and rosé wines, and with Ugni-Blanc and Clairette for the organic white wines. In the near future, we plan to begin producing the Semillon, Rolle et Sauvignon-Blanc varieties.
