About This Vineyard
The domain ‘les Romaneaux’ is a classic farmstead. The sturdy house has a view of the garden and valley, a courtyard where invariably a fire burns on which to grill some sausages for the lunch guests, and a dog that wags its tail when you rattle the cast-iron gate. Peace. Hervé and Beatrice Souhat live a bit further down, but the domain is the property of Béatrice’s family. One with Rothschild-like wealth, apparently. Hervé must have once seduced her … with his white Ardéche. Nothing short of irresistible. Rich and concentrated and a wine that leaves you speechless.
