95 points Wine Enthusiast: More off-dry than medium sweet, this is a fabulously concentrated wine. It has honey, spice, lemon and sweet pear flavors, which give it a bright, vivid character in its youth. Expect it to close up for 3-4 years, before emerging again as a wine with elegance, balance and complexity. Cellar Selection. (Sep 2009)

Light nose of hints of lemon and cooling spice and vineyard dirt. Tame, round, balanced, and elegant in the mouth, with mineral and ripe lemon. Short to medium finish. Off dry to dry. Body light to medium, acid medium minus.

Very steely, with a dry mineral flavor. Hints of peaches and a herbal almost thyme nuance. Very granitic with a finish a little tequila-esque (limes and salt)

awesome. had it at terroir wine bar in SF last night. let's see how much i can recall -- gorgeous, complex nose of lemon-lime citrus, green apple, mineral, and floral notes; a light, yet compelling palate highlighted by searing, but not overpowering and well integrated acidity that carries through for a long, elegant finish. -- the best chenin i've ever had. powerful, complex, nuaced...fantastic!

This off-dry Chenin Blanc from top producer of Vouvray, Domaine Huet, has an outstanding, expressive nose with floral and honey aromas that will captivate you, while underlying minerality will keep you intrigued.
