About This Vineyard
Laurent Chatenay is one of the young growers making a name for himself in the Loire Valley with each vintage reaching new heights of quality. He cultivates organically using no chemicals, pesticides or herbicides in the vineyards, harvests completely by hand and never chapitalizes. He ages his wines in used Bordeaux barrels. This wine handles its 20 gr/l of residual sugar extremely gracefully, offering intense pineapple and other tropical fruit aromas and flavors with a structure that is long and silken and a finish that is chalk full of minerals.
